What brings you joy? I could answer that question in a lot of ways, but my greatest joys are being a wife, mother, and labor and delivery nurse! It’s been a wild journey as I’ve learned how to embrace the different “loves” God has brought into my life. To be a wife, mom, or nurse is not easy, but all three are jobs I love with all of my heart. It’s been amazing to see the different passions God has brought into my life, and I absolutely love to write about them! I am so thankful you are here to join me on this journey!
A little more about me…
- I grew up as the oldest of nine, one of seven boys and two girls! I love my big, wonderful family and am so blessed to have the most amazing parents I could ask for and the sweetest siblings.
- I graduated from UAH College of Nursing in 2021 and started working as a pediatric inpatient RN at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham, AL in January 2022.
- I met my best friend and now husband online and did long-distance for a year before we got married on April 1, 2023! That same month I started working as a pediatric ER trauma nurse.
- In July 2024, I became a mama to the sweetest baby girl you’ll ever meet.
- That turned my world upside down (in the very best way!) and led our family back to AL, where I am currently working as a Labor and Delivery Nurse. L&D has been a whole new world for me, but I’ve grown to love it. The privilege of welcoming new life into the world every single day is one I never want to take for granted.
- If I’m not working or chasing around my crazy toddler, you’ll probably find me reading, thrifting, baking, sipping an epic cup of coffee or writing a blog post 🙂

Although I am not sure exactly what my future holds, I know I can hold on to the precious promise of Jeremiah 29:11. God has plans for me, and that is what gives me hope!
